CORITSIDIS & LAMBROS, PLLC was formed in 1991 and its predecessor firm founded in 1989. The Firm offers an expertise in all areas of commercial, real estate and banking law.

Finance and Banking
C &L’s members have acted as associate general counsel or general counsel for three domestic banks, and two foreign bank holding companies. Foreign banks and bank holding companies; as well as domestic State and Federally Chartered Commercial and Savings Banks, mortgage banks and investment banks, have been and continue to be among C &L’s clients. This representation has included regulatory compliance, bank holding company and bank subsidiary matters, the organization of de novo institutions, bank acquisitions and mergers, international banking, Edge Act Bank representation, lender liability and class action litigation, in addition to transactional closings and foreclosure actions.

Real Estate
C &L’s real estate group has extensive experience in cooperative and condominium conversions, leasing, and multifamily and commercial real estate purchases and refinances. This extensive experience has included transactions involving office buildings, shopping centers, apartment buildings, and land for development. Though the Firm’s commercial real estate practice is concentrated in Manhattan, C &L has handled real estate transactions throughout the Metropolitan Area, New Jersey, California, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania and other areas. Moreover, the Firm has served as New York and often, American counsel, for sophisticated real estate investors or lenders domiciled in Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, India, Israel, Japan, Kenya and South and Central America.

Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Trouble Debt Restructuring
C &L’s representation of its banking, real estate, and commercial clients extends to all manners of litigation and post-default proceedings. C &L has handled hundreds of foreclosure and bankruptcy matters; and has extensive experience in loan restructurings, forbearance agreements and workouts. C &L’s sophisticated practice has included successful litigation and appellate work in State and Federal Courts. Likewise, C &L has represented lenders, creditor committees, and debtors in complicated Chapter 11 Bankruptcy reorganizations. The firm has also established a network of attorneys and law firms which advise us on an ‘of counsel’ basis in special areas of law, and out of state of jurisdictions.
